Physiology
This version of the centaur is much less common, and much smaller than their equine cousins. The males have small compact antlers, which the females lack. Both sexes are described as agile and lithe.
Their upper bodies are almost entirely human in appearance, save for the addition of cervine ears and antlers. Their lower bodies are the quadrupedal body and legs of a roe deer. They stand approximately as tall as humans, though weigh more. Their bodies tend to be visually slim, very few ever end up even modestly obese.
Gladerunner faces are almost entirely human, though their hair has a habit of being the same colour as their fur, and naturally streaked. Their noses and mouths can sometimes be slightly cervine, but are generally visually human. Their tongue is generally longer than human normal, and molars of a slightly different configuration, oweing to a diet that excludes meat, but includes many types of leafy greens, tubers, and nuts that humans would not normally eat. Their digestive tract is extremely resilient to plant toxins.
They can be somewhat difficult to interact with, since they're seemingly always on their way somewhere, and they have a habit of not aligning themselves to anyone else's causes, on account of their flighty nature. This can make them seem distanced and overly neutral at times. They don't have much centralized culture per se, since they tend to spread out and take employment nearly everywhere in Hellas, or even in the other realms. Native
G-Rs seem to place value on the capacity to remain neutral to all parties and thus remain out of the line of fire of the conflicts of other species.
They follow the same life cycle as their equine cousins, though they're strict herbivores. An incidental point, strobing lights in the dark can prove immensely distracting to them, in varying ways.
