The satyr culture places some emphasis on physical attractiobn, and as such, nearly all native satyrs and even most forcemarks remain fit and hygenic. Unlike races such as the centaurs, satyrs lack long-term focus, and therefore rarely hold white-collar jobs for long periods of time, instead preferring a more hands-on mode of satisfying their productive inclinations. As an all-male species, they are officially paired to nymphs of all three varieties, but will often take other species as mates, owing to their zest for fun and inclination to short term flings. They are only capable of children with the three nymphs (and harpies, though that union will never produce satyr children).

Physically, satyrs are exactly what one would expect. From the waist up, they resemble human males save for their horns, ovine ears, and marginally thicker body hair. Below the waist, they resemble bipedal ovines with a full coat of fur and mid-sized cloven hooves. Their horns can come in a variety of shapes and lengths, though they do tend to continue to grow throughout their lives at a gradual pace. Their senses are comparable to those of humans save for marginally better hearing and smell. Their lifespan is the same as humans.

Satyrs are a relatively common species through Hellas, and aren't difficult to find in surrounding countries, being a common species to move abroad or to travel. They're widespread enough in Hellas that it is not difficult to find communities of them in virtually any city or town, and many are described as being excellent friends and hosts, thanks to their inherent generousity and inclination to fun.
