Avoid posting things that people won't know, let them find that out in play. No backgrounds are required for submission. Keep track of that yourself in basic character notes, since we're all well-seasoned RPers here. This'll keep your options and creativity as open as possible, and allow characters to engage in subterfuge, disguise, whatever.
